Hand-Made Items for Charity Auction

I have donated some hand-made items to a charity auction which is very close to my heart. Last year I adopted a stray dog from Romania. Stray dogs are mass culled in Romania to control the population. And not in particularly humane ways either. http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/09/12/romania-dog-slaughter_n_3914900.html  You may need to copy and paste these links into your browser 🙂

I made some items to help with food and medical supplies for dogs that have been saved from the street or notorious public kill shelters. The auction can be found here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/499927520098951/?fref=ts

If you would like to bid on any items they will be posted directly by myself, but the funding will go directly to the dogs. 🙂

And some images of my beautiful Zica, a 3 year old girl from Craiova….she was found by local rescuers after suffering a broken leg as a result from a car accident. During recovery she was so stressed that she chewed her back paw down to the pad. it has no nails on it. she still walks with a limp occasionally but this girl is full of lust for life 😀
